I’m a freelance audio producer & journalist based in Cape Town.

I make audio documentaries on a range of subjects, but with a focus on memory and violence in South Africa — both personal and political. I also write about and produce features on contemporary South African art and artists.

Recent works include: Time, Paper, Bone (BBC Radio 4) — an hour-long documentary made with Bongani Kona and longlisted for the 2026 One World Media Awards — about one woman’s lifelong quest for closure and South Africa’s reckoning with the injustices of the past; Robben Island’s Hallelujah (BBC Radio 4), which was shortlisted for the 2026 Royal Philharmonic Society Storytelling Award; and a musical portrait titled Einstein Fix (BBC Radio 3).

Einstein Fix was longlisted for the 2025 One World Media Refugee Reporting Award and was an official audio selection for the 2025 Aesthetica Short Film Festival.
